Dear Students, Parents & Carers,

This week, my thanks go to the teachers who offered revision sessions during the half-term break and to the support staff who kept the building open, clean and accessible. It was encouraging to see that a good number of Year 13 students chose to come in and take advantage of this support.

Our Year 13 virtual parents’ evening went very well, and I hope that parents, carers and students found it helpful to have face-to-face discussions with our subject specialists.

On the topic of UCAS applications, it is important that students do not put themselves under additional pressure by leaving things to the last minute. Please see below the key dates:

Monday 2nd December - Internal Deadline for UCAS advisors to check your application

Wednesday 29th January 2025 - UCAS Deadline

Student Services and teaching staff offer extensive help in the preparation of the UCAS application. Students can attend one of the UCAS application ‘Hub’ sessions, which run on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 am to 11 am in ICT 2, and/or access help by going directly to the Student Services office, which is open 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 3.30 pm on Fridays. Students can also speak to their subject teachers and mentors.
